Maruti Suzuki Colors of Youth - Project Technovation Challenge
As you would perhaps be aware, “Colors of Youth”– a unique path breaking initiative by Maruti Suzuki, is a National College Challenge in which students from TOP Colleges across India match their wits against each other to showcase their Versatile Personality & well-rounded Talent.
As the name “Colors of Youth” suggests, the event aims to tap the various colors (talent) the millennials have and extends a platform to them to come in front of the world and showcase their hidden qualities and creative genius. The colors(talent) range from Singing, Dancing, Music, Stand-up Comedy, Rapping, Speed Painting, Beatboxing, Technological Innovation, Car graphics etc. ‘Colors of Youth’ has risen with every season in popularity and success and has become a much sought-after platform for students who are raring to showcase their potential & versatility.
The event in its previous 6 seasons, witnessed a coveted panel of Judges with the best in the industry- Diana Hayden, Perizaad Zorabian, Nikhil Chinappa, Benny Dayal & Lauren Gotlieb. Colors Of Youth-Season 7 is poised to be bigger and better with Miss. Shakti Mohan, a dynamic Choreographer, Dancer & Actress and Mr. Benny Dayal, a renowned Bollywood Singer & Performer, as the mentors who would be judging the contestants on their creative talent.
PROJECT TECHNOVATION:MARUTI SUZUKI Colors of Youth aims to grow bigger and better every season by adding to the bucket list of the various talent categories. On its 7th year of glorious existence in the country, Maruti Suzuki Colors of Youth is looking at integrating the Engineering Fraternity Pan India and is proud to present the ‘PROJECTTECHNOVATION CHALLENGE’ to be conducted across all the Top Engineering Institutes in the country. The goal of the challenge –(Project Technovation) is to promote scholastic excellence and competence through healthy and fair competition and at the same time provide the students of Engineering Field with:
- A PLATFORM to showcase their innovative streak in terms of submitting their unique ideas and projects under the various streams in the field of technology
- An OPPORTUNITY to come forward and showcase their creative excellence & talent to the world in front of an Eminent panel of Jury members from the field of Technical Education
- A GOLDEN CHANCE to win a cash price worth INR Two Lacs and be a part of the web series of the much sought after talent show for the millennials in the country
PROCESS:
Project Technovation targets the Top Engineering colleges of the country. Entries are called out for the best "Innovative" Project from the First/second/third/ fourth-year students who already prepare such projects as part of their curriculum. The projects shall cover all streams of engineering within various colleges. These projects shall be evaluated by a coveted panel of Judges which would include the Deans & Heads of Institutes/Colleges & Universities from the Technology sector. These judges shall select the Top 3 candidates out of the multiple entries Pan India. The Top 3 candidates shall be given a chance to present their idea at the Grand Finale of the talent show where the entire panel of jury members shall evaluate their innovative excellence and shortlist the winner amongst the top three.
GRATIFICATION:
Top 3 Projects shall be shortlisted to be showcased at the Grand Finale of Maruti Suzuki Colors of Youth Season 7 which shall be held in Delhi. The candidates shall be given a chance to present their projects on the stage in front of the Eminent panel of Judges. The winner shall be given a certificate and a cash price of INR 2 lacs from MSIL. The First and Second Runner-Up shall also be gratified with Certificates & Momentos.
